Study Questions 

1) What does it mean to “guard the good deposit” and what practical steps can you take to accomplish this in your daily walk with Christ? What role does the local church play in this? 


2) In verse 15, Paul mentions that “all who are in Asia” had deserted him, including Phygelus and Hermogenes. How are we to interact with those that have seemingly walked away from the faith or find themselves in unrepentant sin? 


3) Paul speaks of Onesiphorus’s kindness in our text and how he was “not ashamed of my chains.” How can we emulate Onesiphorus in our love and care for one another during hardship or persecution? 


4) Pastors are often tasked with the difficult job of confronting those that wish to cause division within the Body. How can you pray for your pastors in this responsibility?
